Mauricio Salazar established SALAZAR Architecture in 2007 after 10 years as a partner with Paul Davis at SALAZAR DAVIS Architects. Prior to that he worked for Edward I. Mills & Associates and Smith-Miller+Hawkinson Architects, both in New York City. In all, Mauricio Salazar brings to the practice over 30 years of experience working on projects of varying type, scale, and complexity.

SALAZAR Architecture is committed to a distinctly contemporary architecture, drawing on the natural characteristics of materials and the details with which they are assembled to craft timeless and resonant spaces that are livable. The firm’s work is also deeply rooted in an active collaboration with clients. The fruits of this process are projects that are uniquely responsive to their owners’ needs.
